“Overall, the dining experience was decent, but there were a few things that could be improved. The dishes weren’t bad, though many of them tasted primarily of butter and salt, which was not overly unique. One downside was that there was no air conditioning despite it being the middle of summer, which made the meal less enjoyable—especially for a restaurant in this price range. The ajillo prawns were okay and probably not something I would order again because it wasn’t very unique. On the other hand, the octopus and suckling pig were both delicious and definitely the highlights of the meal. The black rice paella was also good and worth trying. My cocktail was also just mediocre. Definitely had better drinks elsewhere.”

Booked a couple days before for bar table seats and end up having table seat. All the food are so tasty and my girl and I are every satisfied. “This is not my first visit—I’ve been here a few times before and had certain expectations for the food, which were generally met. The dishes were tasty, and the atmosphere was lively, though the seating felt a bit cramped. However, the service upon arrival left a lot to be desired. We showed up slightly earlier than our reservation and noticed a few empty tables, so we politely asked if we could be seated. If not, we were happy to wait outside or return at the exact time. The hostess (a woman with long black hair in a ponytail) confirmed our booking, pointed out we were early, and then silently fiddled with her tablet without any response or acknowledgment. She proceeded to seat us with an unfriendly demeanor. On the way to the table, she exchanged a glance and whispered something to another server (a woman with short dyed blonde hair), who then looked over at us. We couldn’t hear what was said, but it gave off a very unwelcoming vibe, like the staff were gossiping about customers behind their backs. Overall, the food is good enough to return for, but the rude and unprofessional front-of-house staff really soured the experience.”

“We had a fantastic dinner for my friend's birthday. We started with the excellent croquettes ($18/pc); the Ibérico ham was rich, and the Squid & mussel was deliciously briny. For our mains, the Octopus Galician style was a standout—incredibly soft and not chewy. The Deboned suckling pig ($197) had wonderfully tender meat, though we wished the skin was crispier. The Pica Pica paella Surf & Turf ($108/small) was flavourful and perfectly sized for two. Our only minor letdown was the Wagyu steak tartare on bone marrow ($175), which was a bit too rich and heavy. We finished with the Basque burnt cheesecake ($78), which was good, especially with the red berries sorbet. The service was outstanding—they made the night special with a birthday message on the plate, a signed card, and a Polaroid photo. Overall, a great experience with largely excellent food and memorable, thoughtful service.”
