“For a mall restaurant, La Rambla stands above the rest. We haven't had great Spanish food for quite some time, and on a recent trip to HK, were utterly thrilled by our meal here. The Spherical Olive was a surprise in my mouth, and acts as a wonderful starter to our meal. If you're a fan of Jamón Ibérico, I'd say you must order it here because the accompanying pan con tomate it's exceptional. Super thin and light, it adds a beautiful textual contrast to the delicious ham. One of our favorite dishes was Spanish Tomato & Smoked Sardines Salad. A remarkable yet simple dish, it utilizes Mar Azul tomatoes from Spain which possesses a flavor and textural component you will not find in any other tomato. Avocado Lobster Roll is as tasty as it is pretty. The aesthetic presentation rewards you with a seafood delight bite after bite. If you're a fan of oxtail, definitely get Oxtail & Caramelized Onion Tart Tatin with Foie Mousse. It is rich and exquisite. The oxtail is braised for a long time resulting in a melt-in-your-mouth experience. One of my favorites was Eggplant Escalivada which I savored while my husband was on the phone. He was lucky I left him a bite. Make sure you reserve a table beforehand. This place gets super busy and I can see why with this level of food it is churning out.”

“Among other mediocre ifc restaurants, La Rambla is nothing but. We ordered 4 tapas and the suckling pig. Escargot was very fresh, tomato tartare didn’t feel soggy at all (how did they do that?). The suckling pig was very juicy and the skin was roasted just on point. Not too crunch not too soft. Service was excellent. Kids and family friendly, tasteful deco and spacious. Expect HKD 800-1000 per head.”
