“I visited Camino Tapas in King's Cross and had a really enjoyable evening. The restaurant has a stylish, contemporary interior that feels very central London while still serving authentic Spanish tapas. It's a relaxed yet vibrant space that's perfect for catching up with friends or enjoying a date night. The service was excellent throughout. All of the staff were friendly and attentive, but a special mention goes to our waitress (whose name I unfortunately didn't catch). We realised we'd been seated next to one of my work colleagues, which was understandably a little awkward for both parties, and she handled moving us to another table so discreetly and professionally that it made the whole situation completely stress-free. It was such a thoughtful gesture and really stood out. The food was delicious and offered exactly what you'd hope for from a Spanish tapas restaurant. We ordered the pan con tomate, tortilla de patatas, patatas bravas, and finished with the Basque cheesecake. Everything was fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully prepared. Given the quality of the food, attentive service, and its King's Cross location, I thought Camino offered good value for money. The tapas portions were a good size for sharing between two people. The tortilla was slightly on the smaller side and would probably be better suited to one or two people rather than three or four. We found that four tapas dishes plus dessert was the perfect amount for two of us, although we probably would have ordered one more savoury dish had there been another suitable vegetarian option available. The only downside was the limited choice for vegetarians. There were only a handful of vegetarian tapas, and the dessert menu was even more restrictive. A few desserts, including the dark chocolate cigar, churros, and chocolate truffles, appeared as though they should be vegetarian, but unfortunately our waitress wasn't able to explain why they weren't. It was a little disappointing, particularly in an area like King's Cross, where restaurants cater to such a diverse range of dietary requirements. I'd love to see Camino expand its vegetarian offering, particularly when it comes to desserts, as it would make the experience much more inclusive. We booked in advance for a Tuesday evening, and although it wasn't completely full when we arrived, the restaurant became noticeably busier as the evening went on. I'd definitely recommend booking ahead if you're planning to visit on a Friday or over the weekend. Overall, we had a really lovely meal. Authentic Spanish tapas paired with a stylish London setting made for a fantastic evening, and I'd happily return. I'd particularly recommend Camino for date nights, after-work dinners, or catching up with friends over classic Spanish tapas in a relaxed, stylish setting. If you're visiting for the first time, I'd definitely recommend ordering the tortilla de patatas, patatas bravas and saving room for the Basque cheesecake.”

“Usually I’m coming to the Bar Rioja with my friends, for good 🍷, but this time I had an amazing lunch with my family on Saturday. Vibes here are the best, the people who works in Camino deserve a special mention. Fooooood is very very good. My absolute favourites are the octopus and the jamón croquetas — both are packed with flavour and cooked to perfection every time. My 4-year-old son was happily eating anchovies and tomato bread, which says a lot about the quality and freshness of the food! As I mentioned before staff is soo lovely, everyone is friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. They go above and beyond to make sure you have a great experience, and they are always happy to help with recommendations or anything you need. Really really highly recommend to visit Camino restaurant, and absolutely secret Bar Rioja! Advice - better go with a booking, not always has availability same night.”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 Camino King’s Cross is one of the nicest Spanish restaurants I have visited in London. The location is excellent, only a short walk from King’s Cross and St Pancras, but once inside it feels hidden away from the busy streets. The restaurant has a warm Spanish atmosphere, beautiful décor and a lovely courtyard terrace that is perfect during good weather. The food was very authentic and reminded me of Spain. We ordered a selection of tapas to share, including patatas bravas, calamares and other traditional dishes. Everything arrived fresh, well presented and full of flavour. The ingredients tasted high quality and the portions were good for tapas-style dining. The drinks menu was also impressive, with a good selection of Spanish wines, sangria and beers. The staff were friendly, attentive and happy to explain dishes and make recommendations. In terms of price, it is not the cheapest option, but considering the location, quality of the food and overall experience, I felt it offered good value for money. Expect typical London prices, especially if ordering several tapas and drinks, but the quality justifies the cost. The atmosphere was lively without being overwhelming, making it suitable for couples, friends, work gatherings or even a casual date night. The restaurant manages to create a genuine Spanish feeling in the heart of London. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely return. If you are looking for authentic Spanish food, good drinks and a vibrant atmosphere near King’s Cross, Camino is well worth a visit.”

“My wife and I went for dinner here recently and had such a lovely evening. From the moment we arrived, the welcome at reception was warm and professional – we were seated really quickly. Before we even sat down, we got chatting to a guy called Caesar who was carving the hams for the charcuterie board. He was so passionate and knowledgeable, telling us all about where the different meats came from. It was such a nice touch and really set the tone for the night. We were shown to a great table, and the service throughout the meal from all the waiting staff was spot on. The restaurant had a lovely buzz about it – busy but not deafening, with a nice mix of people. Now for the food… honestly, everything was cooked to perfection. We had the Pan con Tomate, grilled octopus, garlic prawns, and an artichoke heart dish. So simple but so authentic and full of flavour. We also tried an orange contact wine which was one of the best we've ever had, and finished with some Spanish sherry which was the perfect end to the meal. Oh, and there was a Spanish coffee too – I can't remember the name of it, but wow, it was delicious. The whole team here are a real credit to the place. We'll definitely be back.”
