We list four Spanish restaurants in Lisbon and one in Porto. They cover different parts of Spain: Andalusia, the Basque Country and a mix of regions. That makes them easy to spread over a weekend. Only one of the Lisbon four has opening hours in our records, so the plan below says where you need to check before going.
Friday night: Andalusian raciones near Cais do Sodré
Meson Andaluz is at Travessa do Alecrim 4, listed in the Bairro Alto and Cais do Sodré area. It is an Andalusian restaurant built around tapas and raciones, with a wine list that mixes Spanish and Portuguese bottles. Its own website gives the hours as 12:00 to 24:00, every day. It is the only Lisbon stop on this list with hours in our records.
Raciones are the larger sharing plates. Our guide to Andalusian food covers what to look for on the menu.

Saturday lunch: Basque pintxos on floor 7
Imanol by Aitor Ansorena is the first Lisbon unit of the Spanish group Imanol. It sits in the Gourmet Experience on floor 7 of El Corte Inglés Lisboa, at Avenida António Augusto de Aguiar 31. The record describes traditional Basque cooking mixed with newer ideas, with a menu that runs from traditional pintxos to grilled dishes, and traditional Basque ciders alongside the wine.
We have no hours on file, so check before you plan around it. If cider is new to you, our Spanish cider guide covers the basics.
Saturday night: regional tapas on Rua Castilho
D'Origem by Mastinell opened in August 2026 inside the Olivia Lisboa Hotel at Rua Castilho 17, serving Spanish tapas from different regions by chef Augusto Diez. No hours on file, so book or call ahead.

Sunday: a Spanish beer hall at Campo Pequeno
Cervecería La Sureña is an Andalusian-style tapas beer hall from the Spanish group Restalia. It opened in December 2025 and is listed at Campo Pequeno. We have no hours on file. Before ordering, our guide to how Spain drinks beer explains the difference between a caña, a doble and a clara.
If the weekend continues in Porto
Sagardi Porto at Rua de São João 54 is our only Porto listing. Its record says it is the first and so far only Sagardi in Portugal, specialising in traditional Basque cooking with an emphasis on meat, a full bar of pinchos, Spanish wines and Basque ciders. It is open every day from 12:00 to midnight. If you ate at Imanol in Lisbon, this gives you a second Basque menu to compare. Our Basque food guide lists the dishes worth ordering.
