Our earlier piece on Spanish food in Bangkok covered MoVida, Vaso, La Malifeta and PanWat. This weekend plan uses four different listings, grouped by area: Saturday stays on the Sukhumvit sois around Soi 20 and Soi 26, and Sunday starts on Soi 23 and ends in Sathorn. Every detail below comes from the venues' own listings in our directory, including the hours, which can change. Check before you set off.
Saturday lunch: jamón on Sukhumvit 20
Taberna Jamón Jamón is at 9/1 Soi Sukhumvit 20. It is a family-run taberna with owner Miguel, and its listing names the jamón ibérico as one of its most popular dishes, carved to order. The listing also mentions a spacious terrace and a Spanish wine list.
Listed hours are 11:00 to 22:00 every day, so a long Saturday lunch is easy. Start with a plate of jamón ibérico and a glass of wine, and keep the rest of the order light if you plan to eat rice in the evening.

Saturday evening: paella on Sukhumvit 26
Paella House & Wine Bar by El Tapeo is on Sukhumvit Soi 26, a sister venue to El Tapeo built around the paella pan. It runs as a taberna, with Spanish plates and snacks, wine by the glass or bottle, draught and bottled beer, and Spanish-inspired cocktails.
Its listed Saturday hours are 11:30 to 23:00. Paella is a dish for the table, so come as a group if you can. Our paella page covers the main styles.
Sunday lunch: Latirra on Sukhumvit 23
Latirra is on the 8th floor of P23 Tower, Soi Sukhumvit 23. The kitchen is run by chef Sandro Aguilera, and the listing describes traditional Spanish dishes with a modern presentation. Latirra took part in the 2025 Ruta de la Tapa in Thailand.
Listed Sunday hours are 11:30 to 14:30 for lunch and 18:00 to 22:30 for dinner. Lunch is the slot for this plan. No Monday hours are listed.

Sunday evening: Spanish wine on Sathorn 8
PaLeTa Iberico Wine Bar is at 46 Soi Sathon 8. Its listing describes a taberna for wine lovers with more than 350 Spanish wine references and ibérico pork carved in house. Listed hours are 18:00 to 23:00 from Tuesday to Sunday, which makes it a good place to end the weekend.
With that many labels, it helps to know a few Spanish wine terms before you order. Our guide to crianza, reserva and gran reserva is a quick primer.
If you have more time: Silom and Bang Rak
- Taburete, 5/6 Sala Daeng Road: run by chef-owner Kannika Kongkaew, who cooked in Spain for ten years, with her partner Josep Mascarell. The listing mentions paella, croquetas, a watermelon gazpacho, Iberian cured meats and Estrella Galicia beer. Listed Saturday hours are 11:00 to 23:00.
- Tasca Sabio, ground floor of voco Bangkok Surawong: a tapas bar from the Sabio group, which first opened at Duxton Hill in Singapore in 2011. Its listing has no hours yet, so check directly.
