“My recent visit to Parrillan in King's Cross was highly disappointing, starting with a very poor first impression. We were put off immediately by seeing a chef clean her nose and handle food without washing her hands, and the host at the entrance seemed lost. Once inside, there was a complete lack of greeting from the staff, which is unacceptable for an establishment with an open kitchen and open bar.While the English waiter was pleasant, the service was inconsistent overall, and we felt it was overpriced. On the positive side, the outdoor space and the canal views are lovely, but unfortunately, that couldn't make up the experience though.”

“It such a nice place, I was first brought in by the amazing music. They bring out a little grill for you to cook the meat. The staff are lovely and there’s even heat lamps and heated seats :). Would definitely come here again.”

“This is a big no for me. Absolutely horrendous service. Our waiter clearly did not want to be there and hated his job. We were greeted with a sour face and eye rolls everytime we asked a question. We ordered a beer which came warm and flat, I asked if they had a spicy margarita and he responded with a frown and a no, I then asked if it came with salt on the rim, waiter answered with "if you want. My drink came with no salt and I asked if it would be possible to rectify and the waiter replied with" it's too late now". I was absolutely shocked. Second round and salt was all over the outside of the glass. Food menu is small and not worth the price. Olives were bitter, tomato bread was soggy and overly salted, croquettes were very creamy and bland so we decided to pay our bill and not bother with the mains. Outdoor seating is beautiful especially in the summer, but absolutely not worth going to with the service we received and the overpriced menu.”

“Incredible service! Huge shout out to Hanson, he was charming, attentive, professional and so very quick and kind with all our various requests. He always noticed when we were low on ice (it was a boiling day and the tables have partial sunlight, never mind the grill on the table 😅). He was so knowledgeable about the menu and really made the meal a delight. The food was of course beautiful - fresh seafood cooked just the way you like because you do it yourself on an open little grill on the table. The wine was excellent and the place is gorgeous. It was a bold choice for a 30 degree day but the staff really looked after us. It’s pricey of course but really worth it for a wonderful time. Hanson even brought a piece of free baked cheesecake for my partner’s birthday.”
