“First time at Lunya and pleasantly surprised by the staff and atmosphere our party got the mixed deli starter however it wasn’t for me but the other two loved it, we got seven tapas between us and I’ve gotta say the secreto and the Scouse stood out other everything really nice mixture of flavours only thing I didn’t really like was the gambas it was quite bland. However all in all really good experience would eat it here again.”

“Authentic Catalan food. I don't know anywhere in the UK which measures up to this place when I want tapas. The croquetas were delicious, pan con tomate perfect and the various ensaladas exactly what we wanted. Cocktails were very good. And I miss Vichy Catalan so I'm always delighted to find it here. “I have been to Lunya I think 3 times now and every time has been a great experience. The staff are welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The food is delicious. Some things are pricey but I think it is (mostly) justified for those dishes and the quality of the food. The Gaudi cocktail was lovely and they have a great selection of drinks on offer for both alcohol drinkers and those who don't drink alcohol. The only thing I didn't like on this visit was the olives - they weren't very nice and, because they were offered before we had a menu, we didn't know they were £5 - we wouldn't have ordered them if we had known the price regardless of whether or not they were nice as this is hefty just for a few olives.”

“I can’t believe I haven’t been in here as I am a local. I’ll be back as we had a lovely lunch of three tapas each and huge olives. The staff at the front of house were very welcoming and friendly so they drew us in. The restaurant staff were also lovely, mentioning Tom, Molly and Joe. Can’t wait to return for more food and next time try the wine. Joe told us about the Rioja evening on Friday which I will try and attend.”

“We had a fantastic lunch in Lunya to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. We chose tortilla, tomato bread, patatas bravas, aubergine stack and the whole sea bream. For dessert we had crema catalana and almond tart. All the food was delicious. Very fair portions and perfectly cooked. The sea bream in particular was sensational. To drink we had a bottle of verdejo which was worth £34 and delicious 30 year old Pedro Ximenez sherry. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a really great afternoon and we recommend Lunya 100% for a memorable lunch or dinner.”

“Great place for Spanish food. We came early on a Friday early evening without a reservation, thankfully it was only a short wait for a table. We ordered the peppers, chorizo, albondigas, calamari and aubergine stack. All the dishes were excellent. My favourites were the albondigas and aubergine stack. They also have a nice speciality food store at the front, which is also worth checking out.”
