“Myself and 4 girlfriends came here for drinks and appies. Overall, it was a decent experience, but probably not somewhere I’d rush back to. The drinks were definitely the highlight of the night, really tasty and well made. The food was alright, but the portions felt quite small for the price. I know tapas are meant to be shared and come in smaller portions, but when we asked for recommendations for the table, it would’ve been helpful to know that some dishes were more suited for 1 to 2 people rather than a group of 5. We likely would’ve ordered doubles of a few items if we’d known. The presentation of the dishes also felt a bit underwhelming, and a few of the hot items arrived more lukewarm than hot. The patatas bravas were probably our favourite dish of the night. Overall, I think we were just expecting a bit more from the experience given the pricing and reviews.”

“Como Taperia Cute little location with big personality! Service staff are high energy, educated, and most importantly fun! Chefs can be seen working and will interact with you which you gotta love. Everyone seems to actually enjoy working there which is great to see. Generally I go in depth on every menu item but honestly just go try it all out! We ordered all shareable plates and small bites till we felt full, everything that came out was delicious and making you want to see what’s next. Highly recommend and I will be returning!”

“Spain was the best trip of my life. I loved every single meal I had there, and I have missed Spanish food ever since. That’s why being able to visit a Spanish restaurant in Vancouver felt genuinely exciting to me. Unfortunately, this place completely failed to meet those expectations and did not reflect my memories of Spain in any way. None of the dishes resembled the Spanish food I experienced. The flavors, presentation, and overall concept felt disconnected from Spain altogether. I honestly could not tell which region or city in Spain this food was supposed to represent. The pricing was especially disappointing. Even though the euro is not cheap, tapas in Spain rarely exceed €10. Here, the prices were more than triple, with much smaller portions. Vancouver is an expensive city, but this level of pricing is still unjustifiable. The octopus dish was the most shocking example. Two very small octopus legs served with mashed potatoes for $47 is simply unacceptable. I paid around €15 for a far better octopus dish in Spain. This comparison is impossible to ignore. I was also very disappointed by the heavy use of canned items, which is not at all to my taste and does not align with how I experienced Spanish cuisine. Overall, this restaurant fell far short of my expectations and felt like a poor interpretation of Spanish food at an inflated price point. Sadly, I will not be returning.”

“Dinner with work colleagues, I love paella guys, and they collaborate sometimes, and saw they are Michelin rated, wanted see if they are the real deal. Service was great, he explained the menu to us one by one, because we arrived at different times. Ambient is very good, feels like we are in Europe. Food are top notch too, love the ribs, eggplant, and cheese. The only thing just average are the cauliflower and mushrooms, they are still good, but just not like the other dishes blew your mind good Definitely recommend to everyone, and we will be back for sure”
