★★★★★via Google“I stopped by Txoko Jakarta for lunch and was happy to find a spot that really delivered on the paella craving. The seafood paella was the one I went for, and I also liked that the menu had a fun mix of dishes, including the kimchi pork version. I noticed the Spanish omelette too, and it definitely made the meal feel worth coming back for.”

Owner came to check our table multiple times and even went to give us a complimentary dessert. Felt very welcome throughout! The only downside was, we sat in the middle of the room, it was a bit warm. I think AC circulation could be better”
★★★★★via Google“The owner is very friendly. I love the appearance of food there. I ordered paela for main course and some dessert. Petit fours is the cute one.”
★★★★★via Google“Had a sunday dinner here. They’ve got 50% off paella every sunday. Ordered the US beef cheek and seafood paella, both were great, perfect balance of crispy and also brothy rice. We also ordered the fish of the day, very refreshing. They gave lots of complimentaries, from bread to chocolates. Service was superb. The only minor downside was the table where i was placed in can get quite hot as the AC didn’t reach my table. Other than that everything was perfect.”

The interior was a Basque inspired decor, a mix between the rustic traditional Spanish features & modern minimalist elements. The second floor had that 'Art Gallery'-feel to it. We reserved a table for 4, and seated near the window, at the corner, on the Ground floor. We ordered: Classic seafood paella👍 Spanish anchovies with roasted red paprika Broken egg Batavia style with txistorra (Basque pork sausage) Gratin scallops with lemon alioli & espelette 👍 Classic garlic prawn with olive oil, garlic & sherry wine 👍 Pistachio creme brulee with amaretto ice cream 👍 Idiazabal cheesecake with honey ice cream 👍 Creme caramel Draught Anker beer 👍 When we first arrived, we ordered the Paella first because we knew it took longer to cook, which is around 30 minutes. When we're still deciding what to order, the waitress served us complimentary canapes and welcome breads. All the food were delicious, flavorful and served beautifully. The scallops were topped with foamy sauce and charred on top. It's quite a unique dish. The prawn dish - gambas, was umami with pronounce garlic flavor. And of course we dipped our bread to the prawn juice until there's nothing left. The paella was umami & generously topped with clams, shrimp & octopus. The rice was soaked with the tomato & seafood broth, cooked until reaching the right consistency & wetness. Enough for 2-3 people. On every sunday, there's 50% discount on the Paella dish. Unfortunately we went there on Saturday night 🤣 The desserts were great. The pistachio creme brulee was creamy, nutty and not too sweet. The idiazabal cheesecake was beyond our expectation. The presentation, the pronounce taste of the cheese, complemented with the honey ice cream. DIVINE! The waitresses were friendly & very attentive. At the end of our meals, we were served a box of petit fours consist of spicy chocolate & lemon financier. They were absolutely the best closure for our dining experience.”
★★★★★via Google“Visited Txoko with my husband and had a great experience. It was our first time there and the lady waiter was very helpful in recommending what dishes to order. Since it was Ramadan and we were fasting, she kindly reminded us that the paella portions are quite large so it’s better to order more later if needed, which we really appreciated because it’s easy to get “laper mata” before iftar. The food was superb, we ordered the fish of the day (our first time trying ikan sebelah), seafood paella with squid ink, and duck cannelloni — everything was delicious. Great service and great food. Will definitely come back.”
★★★★★via Google“You can really feel the chef’s care in all the little details here. From the bread and amuse-bouche at the start to the cute wet towels and the surprise dessert at the end, the small touches were everywhere. The food was great—I really enjoyed the paella and the burrata salad with gazpacho. It was also fun to watch the "performances," like the soup being injected with a syringe and the shrimp being torched right at the table. The mushroom soup with an egg was another delicious highlight. The staff were very kind, and overall, it was a very satisfying and pleasant meal.”
★★★★★via Google“I always have great time dining here at Txoko. It is an authentic basque cuisine led by a Basque chef-owner who is always welcoming his customers. Food is always great and they have ample collections of wine. My favorite dish here is Fish of the Day … fresh seasonal whole fish cooked in basque style. They also make great sangrias. The service is top-notched. The waitresses are very attentive. Warm and polite … and let you be in your privacy when you prefer. I take friends here for birthdays and celebrations and I also love dining here alone. It is like visiting a good friend’s house … always welcoming and very comfortable.”
