“Found this hidden gem of a restaurant on google and tried it out. It’s a really nice place I tried one of their tortillas which was a different experience as I’m used to a bread type/ corn case. Friendly staff and overall atmosphere vibe. I would definitely recommend trying their tortillas and cold tomato soup. It was tangy and refreshing.”

“We went there around 5:45 without booking and there’s a spot outdoors. Later we needed to go to the bar for reserved seating but I totally understand. I started with a glass of Cava then a jug of sangria. For food we had beef and jamon croquettes and octopus. Food was very good. Especially octopus was very tender and meaty. The waitstaff were very friendly as well. Such a nice find in Surry ! Will be back to try other tapas dishes.”

“Booked a table for 2 at 6pm, but my guy was running late. I was seated upstairs in this lovely very romantic restaurant, gentle lighting, slightly dark but beautiful ambiance. I ordered a jug of sangria. It was light and well balanced. At 6.30pm I get a notice that he's stuck in traffic without a clear ETA!! but he is coming... By that time I've had three glasses of sangria and ordered a starter of their Paripe Iberico platter because I was hungry. I had the chance to try out my basic Spanish with the owner, who thought I spoke pretty well for someone who didn't learn it formally. I told the staff of my date's difficulties in keeping to time. It was close to 7pm, with new customers arriving and the place was booked out for the rest of the night. Now 1hr since original booking time, they graciously moved me to their backup room. It looked like a space for private dining etc, but that day there were three tables, none of which were not setup. The lovely staff set up the biggest table by the window and made me feel very comfortable there. When my platter arrived, I took the opportunity to take photos. The staff checked on me, ensuring I was feeling OK being alone, one was worried I was being stood up. How lovely of him to care! At 7.30pm guess who finally arrived. I resisted the urge to throw the sangria at him because it was too good to waste! 1.5hr late to a date! We ordered the croquetas of each type, the txistorra sausage, the anchovies and the mussels. The starter platter was gorgeous. More than enough for 3-4 people, but we were hungry so we didn't leave anything behind. The txistorra sausage was impressive in size too. I adored the flavor and texture of the eggplant and capsicum base, forming a delightful contrast with the sausage. The anchovy dish was very special with the very subtle anchovy stuffed olives. I enjoyed them the most rather than the whole anchovy. An honorable mention for the mussels esp the garlicky sauce which was velvety smooth. We should have ordered more bread to soak up it up, but we were absolutely full to the brim. The best however were the croquetas. All three delicious flavors, creamy and gooey on the inside, crisp on the outside. Incredibly good food at a very good price. This is not cheap eats, it's quality at a reasonable price. Highly recommended for food, service and ambiance. I will definitely be back, probably with a different date!”
