“We enjoyed a delicious dinner at Encasa last night. All of the wait staff were very friendly and welcoming which was a great start to our meal there! We tried the chorizo, octopus, paella and churros. All the food was very fresh and delicious! We really loved the grilled octopus. It came in a delicious sauce and was cooked perfectly. The paella was also very delicious, a nice big serving with lots of mixed seafood. Washed it down with some nice wine and sangria! Would definitely recommend popping for a meal. The restaurant is very close to the Capitol Theatre if you want to visit before seeing a show”

“Had a great night out enjoying Spanish flavours in Sydney, without paying stupidly high prices for it. Tried several tapas, like patatas bravas, scallops, jamon iberico, octopus and tomato bread, but the standout was the arroz negro. It took me back to Barcelona, though it would've been good to have a little more aioli than what was given. Overall, it was a nice experience. Just wasn't a fan of the 2 hours sitting and felt rushed out instead of relaxing over food and wine, which is the complete opposite of they do things in Spain.”

“We had a wonderful meal at this Spanish restaurant. We enjoyed everything, but the croquetas stood out for me, crispy on the outside and creamy and flavorful inside, truly the highlight of the evening . The sangría was delightful, perfectly balanced, fruity and refreshing, really similar than in Spain, complementing the meal beautifully. The authentic flavors transported us straight back to Spain, and the service was exceptional, Eli and the rest of the staff were attentive, friendly, and went out of their way to make our evening special. Highly recommended for anyone craving genuine Spanish cuisine. We’ll be back!”

“walked in with a friend and unfortunately had a very odd experience. We understand restaurants get busy, and we were happy to wait. However, it took quite a while before anyone came to take our order. Several staff members walked past our table without acknowledging us. One staff member helped tables that arrived after us while not once checking on our table, even though we were seated like 10cm away? She continued serving the surrounding tables throughout the meal without acknowledging us. I ordered a vermouth, which didn’t arrive until I followed up multiple times. It turned out the order had not been put through. We also ordered the octopus, but after finishing our other dishes, we had to ask about it — only to be told it wasn’t available. We were informed the staff had forgotten to let us know. When we asked for the bill, the EFTPOS machine was brought over with tipping options displayed, which felt surprising given the service experience. The food was average and not surprising at all with such confusing service. We’re sorry to leave a negative review, but we wanted to share honest feedback, and we think you guys need to hire more staffs or train your staffs better. We’re disappointed with the overall experience and won’t be returning or recommending this restaurant. We hope this feedback is taken seriously.”
