“The food at Bancho by Tapavino was splendid, and we genuinely enjoyed every dish. Everything we ordered was full of flavour, beautifully prepared, and very satisfying. The interior is also pleasant, with a comfortable and stylish atmosphere. Unfortunately, the service left a very different impression. The staff were unpleasant both in communication and attitude, which affected the overall experience. We politely declined the water that was suggested and ordered tea with milk instead, but the waiter looked at us as if we had committed some terrible offence. What made this especially strange was that many visitors around us seemed to be there mainly for drinks and had ordered no food, while we did the opposite: we had dinner, but no alcohol. Surely that should not be a problem. All customers should feel equally welcome, whether they order drinks, food, alcohol, tea, or anything else. It is a shame, because the food was excellent. With warmer and more respectful service, this could have been a truly wonderful dining experience.”

“A really cool place, nice vibe, great food and fantastic staff. We had the First Tables set menu. My friend was GF, DF and Egg free & that team made adjustments to most of the dishes. The alternatives provided were very tasty. The non-alcoholic drink tasted so real that we thought that they had mistakenly put alcohol in it but they hadn’t. “Extremely disappointing and frankly unacceptable, especially given the outrageous prices this restaurant charges. The quality is nowhere near the level implied by the menu or the pricing. The so-called “ jamón iberico” was of clearly low quality, not properly specified on the menu, and poorly sliced, showing a complete lack of professionalism. Calling this product “Iberian” is, at best, misleading. The octopus dish was a joke: a ridiculously small portion, completely swimming in oil, with no balance, no technique, and no respect for the ingredient, or the customer. While the staff were polite and tried to be understanding, management’s attitude was disappointing. After pointing out the issues, there was no apology whatsoever, no acknowledgment of the poor experience, not even a symbolic gesture such as offering a coffee. For a restaurant positioning itself at this price point, this is simply unacceptable. This is a place that relies on appearance and inflated pricing rather than quality, transparency, or basic customer care. A complete waste of money. I will not be returning and strongly advise others to avoid it.”
