“If you’re looking for a truly authentic Spanish experience in Phuket, you need to visit La Salada Rawai. From the moment you arrive, it feels like stepping into a real little Spanish corner, warm, welcoming, genuine, and full of soul. We started with the croquetas and they were absolutely delicious: crispy outside, creamy inside, with that real jamón flavour that instantly brings you to Spain. Then came the black paella… and honestly, it was one of the best paellas I’ve ever had. The seafood was incredibly fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavour. What made the experience even more special was Chef Elena herself, preparing everything in front of us with so much passion and authenticity. She is truly part of the experience. She makes you feel at home, shares little secrets about the dishes, explains Spanish traditions, and shows you how to enjoy everything properly. Her recommendation to add the alioli into the paella was next level, absolutely amazing! Special mention as well for the cava, which was such a beautiful surprise. Excellent quality and the perfect pairing for the meal. This is not just a restaurant, it’s an experience full of heart, culture, and amazing food. Without a doubt, our new favourite spot in Phuket. “Great tapas & wine spot, but cash-only is inconvenient. Really nice place for a Spanish-style dinner or aperitivo. Just a heads-up: they only accept cash, which can be a bit annoying if you’re not Thai or you’re not carrying cash on you. My suggestion: either come specifically for the paella (minimum order for 2 people), or come for a relaxed tapas + wine evening. The tapas selection is great, I especially loved the tostas and croquetas (the manchego cheese croquetas were my favorite). The serrano ham was a little too salty for my taste, though. Service is attentive, kind, and friendly, and they welcome you with a small bowl of delicious olives at the table, which is a very nice touch. Overall, a great spot just i hope they gonna let costumers pay in credit card soon”

“Confident saying this must be one of the best restaurants on the island. Super authentic Spanish food with a super friendly and helpful owner. Everyone in our group was commenting throughout how delicious everything was. Make sure you book a paella in advance, it takes a while to cook. We went with the black paella because the boss said it was the best one. I’d recommend other dishes but honestly everything is so good you can’t go wrong. “Spaniard approved!!! After many days of a Thai food, came here looking for known flavors and La Salada did not disappoint. Great selection of Spanish wines and very nice focused selection of Tapas. Had the padrón peppers (greatly executed), the cheese and meet board ( the cheese and the salchichón were top notch) and the potaje (chickpeas and spinach mini stew, very traditional…not common…great flavor). Bread was also good (crispy outside and fluffy inside) The service was great and nice. All of them spoke a few Spanish words to me that I appreciated. Overall, highly recommended! Note: they carry El Consorcio preserves. This is high end brand from Spain that is really high quality. I was shocked to see it here. A+”

“Wow, this place is a total winner! The paella? Honestly, it blew my mind – even better than some I’ve had in Spain! The tapas were super tasty too, every bite just hit the spot. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, it felt like we were old friends. There was a tiny mix-up with the bill, but the owner was an absolute gem and sorted it out no problem. Huge thanks to them for the awesome food and warm hospitality! We promised we’d come back, and we’re definitely bringing the kids next time. Can’t wait!”
