“Decent rooftop bar and restaurant, located on the 19th floor, in Amsterdam Zuid. The ambience and view is quite good, especially during evening hours. Bit disappointed with serving of dinner , for 3/4- course meals, individual servings were not provided, as they combined serving platter for 2 persons, including desserts. We had to request explicitly for individual servings for each person for desserts. Quality of service and also food left much to be desired for €62 3-course dinner and €82 4-course dinner. Not visiting again, for there are surely better rooftop restaurants in Amsterdam.”

“Food, drinks and the view are all spectacular. The roasted scallops was the highlight food-wise. Small but good selection of wines per glass, I had the Caca blanc de blancs and the Nero D'avola. The bar area turned into a more festive atmosphere later with live mysic, which was great, artists played latin music. Easy to reach by noord-zuid metro line.”

“5 stars location, decoration, service, speed and friendliness. The reason for 4 stars is that the portions are very small and in the 3 course menu I had they were meant to be shared amongst the minimum of two people on the table. Some alternatives were particularly tasty and indeed unique, but others were regular options. Price quality ok. Can recommend if you are into this style. Reservation highly recommended.”

“We arrived at Hasta la Vista on a Friday evening without a reservation, fully aware that our chances of getting a table were very slim. Still, we decided to try our luck — and we’re so glad we did! As expected, the restaurant was fully booked. However, Katalina, the host, was incredibly humble and kind. She explained that there was one table available for just one hour and made an exception for us. We were especially grateful because we were dining with our 6-month-old baby (who was very well behaved, but still — not many people bring babies to a rooftop bar on a Friday night!). Since we had only an hour, we ordered quickly. Our waitress (I’m sorry I didn’t catch her name — she was working on Friday, 27th February) was absolutely wonderful. She was extremely helpful, attentive, and genuinely kind throughout the entire service. She truly made our night special. While enjoying our meal, we asked if the kitchen could prepare a few slices of meat without spices for our baby, who had never tried it before. Without hesitation, the team made it happen. A huge thank you to Rene, Iria, Carlos, Vanessa, and Yaroslav in the kitchen — our little one was the happiest person at the table! After our delicious (but too short!) hour at the restaurant, we moved to the bar area for dessert and cocktails. The cocktail menu left us pleasantly overwhelmed, and that’s when Matteo stepped in. He crafted some truly special cocktails for us — honestly, among the best I’ve ever tasted. Overall, this was an experience we will never forget. The food was fantastic, but what truly made the difference was the incredible team. If every restaurant and bar had staff this skilled, friendly, and welcoming, people would go out much more often. We will definitely be back. Thank you for an amazing evening!”

“Staff was really nice. Food was also good. Restaurant looks really fancy, so overall my evening was succesfull. Only one thing, before i came i informed by email that it was the birthday of my wife. Upon arrival in informed the staff about this, and if they could do something with the dessert. They were gladde to put some fireworks on the dessert. Unfortunately, they forgot to do something with the dessert. ;(. So there was no firework.”
