Ernesto's is a Basque-inspired restaurant located on East Broadway in Manhattan. It aims to bring the flavors and culture of the Basque region of Spain to New York City. The restaurant offers a mix of traditional Basque pintxos, tapas, and modern dishes, using both local ingredients and authentic Spanish imports. It was created to evoke the atmosphere of casual dining found in Spain's northern regions, where food and conviviality are central. With a dedication to high-quality ingredients and classic preparation techniques, Ernesto's seeks to be a destination for authentic Spanish culinary experiences in NYC. We have a close relationship with many Spanairds living in NYC and we pride ourselves on being a restaurant where they can indulge in a taste of home. That would be recognition of this status and magnify it’s reach to Spaniards and non-Spaniards alike. Ernesto’s opened in early 2020 to critical acclaim and is still delivering excellence that garners sparkling reviews among patrons and press.
