“Visited here on the 13th December for our anniversary dinner and after reading all the good reviews we were excited to see what all the fuss was about but I have to say we were really disappointed and tbh can’t make much sense of how far apart the reviews are and the reality is. We were seated and given a drinks menu, and after 10mins had to get a waitresses attention to order drinks. We ordered a bottle of red wine and one glass of white wine. After around 5 minutes still no drinks, and we also didn’t have a food menu so we asked about the drinks and was told they’re coming and then was given a food menu. The menu was only in Dutch which seemed strange as when the guy gave us them he explained everything to us in English. I’m English but my partner is Dutch. Another 6/7 minutes went by, still no drinks. Got a waitress again and she apologised and brought the drinks over. We’d been there 20minutes by now. We ordered some food, asked about some breads while we waited, and we were given 4 pieces of dry hard bread. We ordered a salmon dish which was luke warm when it arrived, and for the price we couldn’t believe how small the piece of salmon was. We left half it. Croquettes came, also only Luke warm, we asked 4 times for some alioli with these too. Our order and the table next to us all got mixed up, so the staff told us to check our bills for any mistakes 🤦🏻‍♂️ By now we’d lost interest and was fed up having to ask where our food was, while watching the table next to us eat it. The Patatas fritas came and again were Luke warm. All in all we were very very disappointed, and will not return. Maybe they were having a bad night,but they certainly had enough staff although they didn’t seem too competent and it all seemed a bit chaotic. Spoiled our night unfortunately”

The atmosphere is spot on, both indoors and outdoors, so no matter where you sit, you’re in for a great experience! “The food is good (especially the pinchos and pimientos padrón) but some dishes, like the fries, are a little overpriced. I would also make the pinchos a bit bigger for the price. The people serving were very friendly, especially the owner. I would, however, suggest two things for those serving: debrief them on the menu and drinks so that they know what they're serving, and assign them tables or specific tasks. We really appreciated the tap water and olive oil on the table. That's a real bonus.”
