“The food was above average across the board. Not everything blew me away, but made for a solid meal if you’re craving for Catalan food. We enjoyed their octopus, squid ink rice and pork ribs the most. Iberico ham croquettes, smoked anchovies were alright, nothing you’d missed. The basque cheesecake with strawberry sorbet is my least favourite, the cake was too dense. The service was really great though. The servers were attentive and friendly. Enjoyed the atmosphere. I didn’t think the lights were too bright for romantic dinner setting. But then again, romance isn’t something you find in a light fixture, but something you bring with you.”

“Made a return visit and this place didn’t disappoint. Amazing food - the aubergine chips were especially yummy and the lamb was fall-off-the-bone good (the potatoes that were under the lamb almost stole the show though. So addictive). The service was also excellent. Very attentive and considerate. We had a lot of ingredients that we had to avoid but our waitress advised us really well. It was pretty busy on a Monday night but we sat alfresco so it wasn’t too noisy. It could get hot though so book early if you want a seat indoors.”

“Chanced upon this lovely little place while exploring the area. Not too crowded which was perfect and even though it was a very hot day the interior was cooling. We tried their lunch set and were pleasantly surprised by the tasty tapas and main course. Everything was delicious and freshly prepared. It was also well presented and the service staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Only wish it was a little less expensive so we can go more often!”

Mackerel toast - smoked mackerel layered on layered on potato salad 5/5 Crystal tomatoes toast - fresh tomatoes on toast 5/5 Truffles mushroom croquette was creamy and packed with flavors 4/5 Grilled Turbot as the catch of the day 4.5/5 It an oily fish but chef handled it well , texture was firm n not overcooked . “We’re visiting from Melbourne (where everyone thinks they’re a foodie 🙃) and honestly… we kept saying all night how much we wish we had something like Cendra back home. We ordered a fair bit and there wasn’t a miss. The hamachi tartare was light and fresh, the kind of dish that quietly sets the tone. The dry-aged Spanish picanha carpaccio was meant to be shared… but if I’m being honest, I could’ve eaten the whole plate myself without complaint. Dangerous dish. The clams in lemon, chilli and garlic didn’t last long - absolutely inhaled. Aubergine chips with honey and pine nuts? Same fate. We ordered a dish with freshly shaven truffles (pics below) - Comfort food but done really, really well. The octopus deserves a mention - perfectly grilled, deep smoky flavour, and that chorizo foam was unreal. But the standout for us was the Rubia Gallega. Such a refreshing change from wagyu - proper Spanish beef, dry-aged, rich, tender, and just beautifully cooked. We finished with the lemon tart, which felt very “at home” for a Melbournian - sharp, balanced, not too sweet. Perfect way to end the night. Nothing felt over-done or try-hard, just really good food executed with confidence. We’re still talking about it… please open a Cendra in Melbourne.”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A true Spanish gem in Singapore — Cendra delivers excellence Cendra Spanish Tapas Bar & Grill is hands down one of the best Spanish dining experiences I’ve had in Singapore. From the moment we arrived, the ambience felt warm, stylish, and intimate — the kind of place that’s lively yet still comfortable enough for a proper conversation. The food was outstanding, and what really impressed me is that Cendra is one of the few Spanish restaurants in Singapore that offers ingredients of this calibre — you can genuinely taste the difference. The clams were incredibly fresh and sweet, the Iberico ham was beautifully rich and fragrant, and their special Spanish aged beef was cooked to perfection — tender, flavourful, and clearly premium quality. I also want to highlight something important: I don’t take dairy, and at many Western restaurants this can be tricky — either the options are limited or the flavours don’t quite hit the mark. But at Cendra, the staff understood my preference immediately and guided me confidently through the menu. The dishes they recommended were completely excellent, perfectly suited to my palate, and I never felt like I was “compromising” just because I avoid dairy. Service deserves special mention. The team was attentive without being intrusive, and what stood out most was their knowledge and confidence in recommending dishes. Every suggestion from tapas choices to mains was spot-on — it felt like they truly understood the menu and how to build an enjoyable meal. Wine lovers will also be very happy here. Cendra has an impressive range of wines, with excellent Spanish labels that complement the menu beautifully. The staff also made wine selection easy and enjoyable with thoughtful pairing recommendations. Overall: top-quality ingredients, well-executed Spanish cooking, fantastic hospitality, great wines, and a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended — and absolutely a place I’ll return to.”

“Gave it a try during my wedding anniversary. The experience was average. Most of the portions were a little bit too much for me (2 pax). The flavour of the hamachi tartar dish was decent, but I would enjoy it more if half of the portion was served with half the price. Same for the Squid Ink Rice. Cod Fish Fritters were very disappointing. Nothing special, the presentation was off. (Presented on a white dish, no decoration at all). It was not cheap (S$10++/piece), I totally regret ordering that. Mackerel on crispy toast is the only dish that I was happy with. Portion was decent, worth the price, high ROI. I ordered a Chocolate Souffle candle as dessert and it was served together with a candle. Appreciate the gesture (perhaps that's for celebrating anniversary as I have included that in the remarks?) but the presentation was very off too. The candle was the cheapest that you usually got from a convenience store, the color did not match, no other wordings were wrote / designed on the dish, I was confused with the purpose of it. Staff was polite, no one was rude at all, but I do not feel the warmth from them neither. It did not make me feel welcome.”
