Spanish Restaurants in Italy: Milan, Rome, Corsico and Abruzzo

Spanish tapas and a paella pan on a table with glasses of red wine

We have 13 Spanish restaurants in Italy in the directory. Ten are in Milan. The other three are in Corsico near Milan, in Rome, and on the Adriatic coast of Abruzzo. Some listings have a full story, opening hours and a named founder, and some have little more than an address. This guide says which is which, so you know when to check with the restaurant before you go.

If you only have a weekend in Milan, our Milan Spanish weekend picks a short route. This page covers every listing in the country.

Milan: La Casa Iberica's four addresses

Four of the ten Milan listings belong to La Casa Iberica. Its record says it specialises in Jamón Ibérico de Bellota and a curated range of gourmet products, runs restaurants in Milan, Turin and Rome, and sells online with delivery across Italy. Our directory only holds the four Milan addresses, and their hours differ:

Given the ham focus, our guide to checking whether jamón ibérico is real explains what the labels mean.

Milan: Andalusian cooking at Sevilla Mía

Sevilla Mía on Largo la Foppa was founded by José Carlos Gómez Moreno and focuses on Andalusian cooking. Its record names salmorejo and espinacas con garbanzos (spinach with chickpeas) among its recipes. The room has traditional Sevillian ceramic tiles and Córdoba-style pottery. It opens at 18:00 every day, closing at midnight from Sunday to Thursday and at 02:00 on Friday and Saturday.

A second listing, Sevilla Mía Restaurante on Viale Coni Zugna, shares the same website. Its record describes an aperitivo of pinchos, dinner in tapa or ración sizes, and the slogan "Tapas y Momentos". It was started by four young entrepreneurs. We have no opening hours on file for this address.

Milan: pintxos, seafood tapas and paella

  • Pintxø (Via Losanna 36) serves contemporary pintxos with recipes drawn from Basque and wider Spanish cooking. Its decoration is inspired by the bars of northern Spain, with porrones, vintage siphons and traditional ceramics, and its logo is an olive on a skewer, a nod to the gilda. Open Tuesday to Saturday, 18:00 to midnight.
  • Tapas de Pescado (Via Gaetana Agnesi 2, Porta Romana) is listed as a Spanish seafood tapas restaurant. No hours on file.
  • Señorio (Via Bramante 13) is listed as a Spanish restaurant, wine bar and tapas bar in Milan's Chinatown. No hours on file.
  • Albufera (Via Luigi Settembrini 26) is listed for Spanish cooking, paella and tapas. Its record says nothing more, so check the menu on its website.

Corsico: Sabor Catalán

Sabor Catalán is a family-run restaurant on Via Antonio Gramsci in Corsico, near Milan. Its record says the cooking uses traditional recipes from all over Spain with a focus on Catalonia, and that the chefs are Spanish and make tapas and paellas. No hours on file.

Rome and Abruzzo

Casa Loca is our only listing in Rome, at Corso di Francia 207. The record holds an address and a website and almost nothing else, so treat it as a lead and confirm the details directly.

Otra Vez is on the Adriatic coast in Abruzzo, at Piazza Giuseppe Verdi 10. It describes itself as the only Spanish-certified restaurant in central and southern Italy and serves dishes from tapas to paella. That is the restaurant's own claim, which we have not checked against a certification list.

Before you go

  • Six of the 13 listings have no opening hours in our records, and Casa Loca's record lists Monday only. Check with the restaurant before travelling.
  • Of the listings with hours, only the four La Casa Iberica branches show lunch service. Pintxø and Sevilla Mía open at 18:00.
  • Browse every listing on the Italy page.
