“Authentic. Upbeat. Spanish Bar / restaurant, owned by a rock & roll musician, cook, graphic designer and creative. The place used to be a one of the city’s very traditional samba spot and was completely renovated, with posters on the wall. Cozy yet lively atmosphere. Great food, Great music including live pocket shows of flamenco and other traditions as cuban, jazz or blues. But also been there to nights with rock & roll loud on speakers and people having fun, talking with strangers, socializing and partying all along. It’s a rule of thumb you will meet at least one interesting person each time you go there. (Be sure to check in with Max, though!). Menu includes a mix of “pintxos” (bites from the Heavens, reimagined from the Basque country) and Japanese appetizers - mostly to share (another place and time, rooted in North Japan if I am not mistaken), along with the entrés with a proper preparation and recipe, as are the Spanish tortilla, paella, rabo de toro. Jamon, pan tomaca, gambas, pulpo.. The place imports wine and cava, beer , cocktails, whisky and sake. Reasonable value for money. Very affordable actually. ***Better reserve, could be packed or overbooked especially on concert nights. *** P.S.: this is NOT a fusion cuisine. The bar actually has two different concepts in one single operation, which originated from having two chefs, each focused on either Spanish or Japanese dishes. … actually makes great for gatherings around with good food and drinks without an immediate description, label, ready-made framework. ***”

“I attended the "The First Round" experience, where you meet to make new friends. The chosen location was Pintxos. I was very curious because it seemed like a great choice. For the experience, it wasn't. The place is very intimate, really small, and when it's crowded it gets incredibly noisy, and with music the noise pollution was even more intense. But let's talk about the orders. I ordered the beef empanada, it was delicious, so much so that I ordered another one, however, a tasting menu size, in the photo you can see it's smaller than the teaspoon of sauce that comes with it. 17 reais 👍🏻 but my new friends were more disappointed, they ordered the trio of pintxos believing it would be a larger portion since the price was much higher, and were surprised with something very simple that we could make at home. Nothing special, nothing elaborate, a disappointment. The drink I ordered was the Lillet Nature, (photo of when it arrived, minimum quantity) it was great, but half a glass? Seriously? To top it all off, one of the waiters was extremely rude to one of the participants when asked about the quantity of churros that came with an order, he said "it's not written because it's not McDonald's" what??? In addition to speaking badly of his colleague Angel to us, saying that she was a newbie and that she didn't know how to explain things properly. A great lack of professionalism and empathy towards his colleague, who was the only positive point of the place, a friendly and helpful young woman throughout the time we spent there. I honestly wouldn't go back, nor would I recommend it. The place has a lot of potential but needs to improve in these aspects.”

It's well-located, cozy, and beautifully decorated, inspired by traditional Basque bars. @conceito_deluxo was invited, I tried the bar's brunch and enjoyed it very much. Delicious cuisine, with friendly service, and very interesting for meeting friends, family, and couples. You breathe a bit of Spain from the decor to the culinary touches. Basque cuisine, with the famous Pintxos (portions served on slices of bread); Spanish cuisine, with Tapas (small portions like tortillas and seafood escabeche); and of course, all enhanced with Brazilian cuisine, bringing delicate mixtures to the portions, whether in their finishing or base, reinterpreting the flavor for a more universal palate. Pintxos.bar also features an exclusive wine list from Spanish and Basque wineries, imported especially for the bar and which cannot be found anywhere else in Brazil. Everything is very tasty with fresh, high-quality ingredients. There are more than 30 types of pintxos and tapas, with options for all tastes, including vegetarian and vegan options with unique flavor combinations. A true immersion in Basque gastronomic culture.
