“We stumbled across Marta’s Kitchen at a pop-up market they were hosting — the sort of weekend event you wander into without much expectation. The market was actually worth the browse, a good mix of local and international brands, but what really caught our attention was the food coming out of the restaurant kitchen. We ordered a bit of everything and were glad we did. The smoked salmon salad was a fresh, well-put-together start. The paella valenciana was the highlight — properly made, the rice flavoured all the way through, the kind of dish you don’t often find done right in KL. Mushroom cream spaghetti was rich and comforting, and fresh juices kept things feeling light between courses. We finished with a macchiato and a crumble cheesecake picked up from one of the market stalls — a lovely way to end the meal, and a nice nod to the event itself. The restaurant was understandably packed given the market crowd, but we found a table outside near a fountain which made for a much more relaxed experience. The two main dishes took a little while to arrive, but we’d been warned in advance so it was easy enough to sit back and enjoy the atmosphere. Service was warm and kept on top of things throughout despite the busyness. A happy discovery. Worth seeking out beyond the pop-up context.”

“I visited couple time before, experience was good. So we decided to celebrate my friend birthday here. We visited on Thursday night, it was quite empty for big dinning space. We ordered many dishes, didn’t manage to took all the pictures. There is few dishes stand out. 1. Garlic shrimp 2. Pork ribs 3. Mixed platter (sauté pork) The service was good. Staff is friendly and attentive. They even sing a birthday song with guitar for my friend. 😂”

“Came here for my birthday. We tried a few tapas dishes — the croquettes were crispy and creamy, and the prawn in garlic oil was fragrant (my all-time fave). The Iberico pork was tender and flavourful, love it! We also had the seafood paella, it was so tasty, hearty, and nicely balanced. A bit noisy but friendly service made it an overall pleasant dining experience with the family.”

“I’ve been coming here since the day they opened, and it’s incredible how they’ve maintained such high standards. The food quality and service are just as consistent today as they were on day one. The tapas are always amazing, and the sangria is absolutely to die for—easily the best in town. What really makes this place special, though, is the owner. “Visiting this restaurant during NYE was truly an experience of its own, partly due to the very vibrant atmosphere and partly due to the expertise of the staff in managing the rush hour! We made an online reservation and didn't have to wait for a table as we were promptly seated. The waitstaff were really helpful and patient in explaining the menu's items to us, and all our choices were (personally) delicious. Special call-outs for the tortilla de patatas con chorizo, San Jacobo, and Valenciana paella because they were the most memorable (the taste still lingers long after you've left) but the other dishes were equally as good. We'd definitely come back during a less crowded day so we can try the other dishes in peace!”
