“We went for Father's Day lunch. Lovely place, was seated in the raised garden out doors, it was shaded hence not hot. We were looked after by a lovely young man Louie. Had a feast of prawns fritters, scotch egg, delicious grilled asparagus, large grilled prawns. Patatas bravas - do request to have the tomato dip & mayo on the side as it is spicy and full of flavour. Once receing it, we were not keen when we saw the sauce being poured over the chips, which then overpowers the potatoes, something to remember for our next visit. Had delicious creamy ham & jamon crocketts, the jamon was strong in flovour. The sourdough bread was fresh & flavourful.”

“Stayed here a while back and found the pub restaurant side very good but as for staying in the b&b side absolutely appalling. Paint peeling off in places in the room, had absolutely no housekeeping for the 4 nights we were there (had to go ask at the bar for a fresh bin bag and toilet roll) which is not acceptable. The other thing I found a joke is there is 5 parking spaces which I’d presume are for guests, but no staff park in them leaving guests to go park far up the road. Really feel that with some effort it could be alot better.”

“On arrival, I could not work out whether this is a pub or restaurant. I am from overseas so did not know anything about the place or it's reputation. It is neither and is trying to be a restaurant. The service staff were good but unfortunately the food was underwhelming. We were a party of 6 and had 3 dishes each, so we tried a pretty extensive range of the tapas dishes. The dishes that did dissappoint were the chicken skewers that were overcooked, dry and chewy and the 'taco' which was tasteless. I had just had a week in Spain so I did know what tapas was. The rest of the dishes were fine but none really stood out.”
