“We didn’t have a reservation and got a seat for us, despite being fully booked, thankfully. We came here after a movie and a full stomach from popcorn—which we regret. We had the pan con tomate, which we thought could have a bit more acidity, but the bread was absolutely delicious; the sobrasada is a must, and our absolute favourite dish; the glazed lamb rib was delicious; the chorizo, we were told was famous, was unfortunately, underwhelming—it lacked depth of flavour and the bed of potato crisps it was on was saturated in its fat and it wasn’t pleasant. We would like to come back with empty stomachs and have the paella and the octopus. We wish we had room for dessert but the popcorn from the movies filled us. The staff are absolutely friendly and the atmosphere is buzzing on a Saturday night.”

Best patatas bravas. I'm talking about a thin crispy exterior, fluffy insides. It's the BEST patatas bravas I've ever had... we were blown away. 🫨 🥈 2. Delicious paella. The bomba rice was cooked al dente, a little chew with every bite. The dish is cooked in a shallow pan, the heat catching giving a little crispy texture as well. Flavours were delicious. 🥉 3. Croqueta has 2 in a serving. You get to try the 15 month air dried jamon & porchini (my favourite bc it was more savoury) and the truffle (which was a bit too cheesy for my liking). 4. I appreciated how the jamon came with servings of bread and tomato. The sweetness & the toastiness cut through the rich saltiness of the jamon. Unexpected and yum! 🍅 Wasn't a fan of the nasty 15% sunday charge though. Tinto was packed for a sunday lunch! Definitely worth making a booking, although I'm sure they could cater for walk ins. Delicious patatas bravas. Would definitely come back and order this again!! ❤️”

“Absolutely incredible Spanish food experience. The paella was the best I’ve ever had… perfectly caramelised rice at the bottom, rich flavour, and generous seafood. The tapas were just as impressive: the croquettes were crispy outside and creamy inside, and the tomatoes on toasted bread was deliciously fresh. We finished with churros and cheesecake, which were both amazing. The churros with caramel were addictive. Great atmosphere, beautiful presentation, and everything felt authentic. Definitely a place I’ll come back to.”

“Had a dinner in Tinto for partner’s dinner. The scallop with pickle is very nice, highly recommended. The steak is pretty good as well especially those tomato slices underneath have got smoky and meat taste in them. The seafood bomba rice plate is not as good as expected, we used to think it is their signature but unfortunately we had many better ones in some other Spanish restaurants in Melbourne. Overall experience is quite nice and I believe it is a good place to catch up friends or families. They do not have any kids menu so would be ideal if to have your kids well fed in an advance.”

“Dined in for the first time last Sunday lunch, it was surprisingly quiet but the food was simply amazing. Our favourite was patata bravas! Probably the best I've ever had so far but I forgot to snap a photo of it. Second favourite would be the lamb ribs. We also had their paella which was yum! Would recommend!”
