“Updated review: I came back after 2 months and this time my experience is so much better. Surprisingly the owner recognized me which makes me feel like meeting an old friend. The Iberico pork and octopus leg were really good! Btw, they can customize paella, so if you want a real paella, ask to remove chorizo! ——————————- From someone who tried paella in 6 different places in Madrid and Barcelona in 5 days: Better paella than Esquina, Kulto, and Tinto (only con is chorizo, why is there chorizo in paella????? It completely disrupts the taste And the AC is not strong enough Other than that, it’s great!”

“Had my anniversary dinner at this place. It’s my second time here and the food still taste as good. The food is flavourful, well plated and of good quality. I am especially impressed by the service provided by the staff, especially the manager Mark. He was attentive to our needs on various instances. For example, when there was an empty table near the river, he offered the table to us and shifted our stuff over. He also saw that I had a big bag with me and offered a bag clip (as seen in the photo) for me to hang my bag. They also provided us a complimentary chocolate tart for our anniversary celebration, Overall a very good experience dining here and will come back again in the future :)”

“Food was good with nice complex flavours well thought out. The prawn is just slightly overcooked otherwise love all the savoury dishes. Dessert was average, we had the churros and basque cheesecake. Unlike the mains, flavours here are one sided and lacking the oomph. But we will still come back again for the main deal and the great service.”

“Celebrated my husband's birthday at this restaurant and the food did not disappoint us, it was very tasty, very palatable. But what really impressed us was the high standards they have in serving quality food. We ordered garlic bread but it took quite a while. The manager then informed us they what we ordered was overdone in the oven and will not serve us with it. Instead they will make a fresh batch and it will be on the house. Wow that is really top notch service and pride in serving good food! We truly appreciate a lot!”

“We were pleasantly surprised with our dinner at My Little Spanish Place. Boat Quay often leaves me Feeling like I have been caught in a tourist trap of mediocre food but thankfully the food here was better than expected. My only complaint was the use of MSG in the pork dish. The food prior to that had all tasted authentic and full of flavour but for true pork dish all we could taste was the salt. The drink menu here could do with some work as there was very little of interest on the menu. We went for the white sangria which tasted nice but was more like fruit punch than Sangria.”
