“We’ve always wanted to try this place, so it was a bit disappointing that it didn’t live up to our expectations. The three servers on the night were all lovely and made great cocktails, which we really appreciated. I just wish they had asked if it was our first time dining there so they could walk us through the menu a bit, especially how the banquet works. The main disappointment was the food. We ordered the Parrilla de Burgos to share, and for the price, nothing really stood out. The mushrooms with truffle oil were quite dry, the steak we ordered medium came out closer to rare and didn’t have that chargrilled flavour you’d expect, and the pork was very simple, something you could easily cook at home. The mains were 274 AUD and only came with two sauces, a mash, and two chorizo, which felt quite underwhelming for the price. Overall, we paid 355 AUD for two people. We don’t mind paying that much as long as the food is good, but unfortunately this one just didn’t deliver. That said, thank you for the birthday dessert, it was a lovely touch and we really appreciated it.”

“For entrée, we ordered the sautéed squid and prawn. It was fresh and well cooked. The squid was tender, not rubbery, and the prawns were juicy with nice seasoning. Simple but done right. For mains, the steak was perfectly cooked. Tender, juicy, and full of flavour. The crispy pork belly was honestly heaven. Super crispy skin and soft inside. The paella rice was slightly salty for our liking, but still enjoyable overall. Dessert was a highlight too. The melted dark chocolate dome with fudgy cake inside was rich and satisfying. Not overly sweet, just balanced and indulgent. Special thanks to Angie. She was attentive, kind, and explained the dishes clearly. Her service really made the night better. We’ll definitely come back.”

“Spanish cuisine specialising in paellas and smoked steaks. We went in to dine mid week, so experiences may vary to busier days/weekends. The tapas were tasty - would recommend the croquetas and octopus. Squid ink paella was a little bit over seasoned for our liking, plenty of calamari. Steak was well cooked but unfortunately the pork belly was a little dry (their signature paella). Cocktails were refreshing and tasty, but other drinks seemed fairly expensive. It was a shame that they were doing some works in the back dining room when we were eating (dinner time), especially when the restaurant refers to itself as fine dining. Food came out reasonably slow, we waited close to an hour for mains, after entrees that took close to 30-40 minutes, with a restaurant that was only half full. Overall, we enjoyed our food, but feel there are a lot of areas to grow to make it an even better experience.”

“We had a really great time at Meninas Grill. The place has a lovely atmosphere and everything felt relaxed and well organized. The food was delicious — the croquetas de jamón serrano were creamy and full of flavor, the pulpo real was perfectly cooked, and the Paella de Velázquez was the highlight of the night, truly amazing. Our server Alba was wonderful: friendly, attentive, and made us feel very well taken care of. We also enjoyed the drinks, especially The Clementina cocktail, along with Valdemar wine and Estrella beer. Overall, a fantastic experience with great food, great service, and a beautiful setting. Would definitely come back!”
