“My family and I are staying at the Gran Melia and, additionally, have chosen to host a reunion dinner with extended family there. The staff and especially Vicky, who worked with us diligently over the course of weeks to plan our reunion dinner, were incredibly helpful and gracious, really going above and beyond in every regard. They sent videos of the banquet room, worked with us diligently on the menu options, and were incredibly patient with our busy schedules. They even provided a translator for the dinner so we can more effectively communicate given our weak Mandarin, which will be incredibly helpful to reconnect with relatives we haven't seen in many years. The food was spectacularly prepared, visually stunning, and they were thoughtful enough to gift a cake and other items as well as prepare decorations for our celebration as well. I could not give a more stellar recommendation of the Gran Melia Xian and its staff for their professionalism and above and beyond service. Moreover, our room was immaculate with a beautiful walk in shower and bathtub that was a joy after being out and about each day. The surrounding area was beautiful as were the grounds. The location was extremely convenient to many sights. Breakfast was stellar as well including a large variety of western and eastern fare as well special regional items. We stayed for 4 nights and there was a rotation of items during our stay, which we also appreciated. In short, this is what every five-star hotel should aspire to be.”

“Our family had a wonderful stay at Gran Meliá Xi’an. The hotel feels elegant, calm and very well managed from the moment you arrive. The lobby is truly impressive, and the rooms and common areas have the standard you expect from a true 5-star property. The team was attentive, professional and genuinely warm without being intrusive. Small details were handled smoothly, and travelling with a toddler felt easy and comfortable, which we really appreciated. The room was spacious, clean and well maintained, with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was also excellent, with good variety and quality products. The lounge area offered a great selection of small dishes and drinks, which was always a lifesaver when travelling with a toddler. Location-wise, the hotel is excellent. The nearby commercial and leisure area, parks, lakes and green spaces were among the liveliest and best-maintained parts of Xi’an, making the hotel a very comfortable base to explore the city. Overall, Gran Meliá Xi’an delivers the kind of experience that makes a hotel memorable: a beautiful property, a strong service culture and a team that clearly cares about the guest experience.”

The hotel is immaculate and the facilities fantastic also. Nice distance to most of the main attractions. Of course, like all Gran Melia hotels I stayed in in Asia, wonderful hotel, wonderful staff, amazing services, and excellent place to spend your vacation at. The staff at the reception were amazing, some speak English which was very helpful, the rooms are wonderful, very comfortable bed and beautiful interior like the rest of the hotel. The breakfast was so yummy and it has all the options you need. I would strongly recommend you to stay at this hotel next time you visit Xian.”
