“A sophisticated atmosphere, friendly service, and refined cuisine are three of the hallmarks of the Aguila Tapas Bar. While there are many positives, there are also a few minor drawbacks. For example, prices of around €5 for 0.1 liters of wine are on the higher end, but the quality is commensurate. Guests of the Hotel Adler can dine at Aguila as part of their half-board package. Both a charcuterie board and a very tasty three-course menu are offered. One criticism: white bread alone as an accompaniment to the charcuterie board is bland and somewhat outdated. However, this does not detract from the overall positive impression.”

“We were here for the first time yesterday – we really enjoyed it. I think we ordered all the vegetarian tapas. Everything tasted great; there were only minor differences, but that's just a matter of personal taste. I prefer slightly larger olives, a little less salt in the pimientos would have been nice, and the berenjena was a touch too sweet for our liking. We also had a bottle of wine (Aradon), two espressos, two shots of schnapps, and a crema catalana, which we shared. The service was incredibly friendly and attentive, and even when the restaurant was full, a glance was usually all it took for someone to come to our table. When the owner asked how everything was, we told him that it was all very good, except that the pimientos were a bit too salty. Unfortunately, the two shots of schnapps weren't quite to our taste either, and we mentioned that. But when the bill arrived, neither the shots nor the espressos were included. That wasn't necessary, but thank you anyway! The Spanish tapas definitely need a Hierbas :-) Then everything will be perfect! We'll definitely be back!”

“A very nice tapas restaurant. The restaurant is beautifully situated in the center of Asperg and is part of the historic Hotel-Restaurant Adler. There is a large menu with many different tapas specialties. In addition, there is a selection of Spanish main courses and desserts. Other classics, such as roast onion, are also offered. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very pleasant, and the staff is very friendly. The tapas and main courses we chose were all delicious. Unfortunately, the fish soup contained only a few small pieces of fish. The prices are just about reasonable, but the quality is excellent.”
