“One of the loveliest dining experiences I've had in a long time in Paris. The staff was so caring. I have trouble hearing and mentioned it in my reservation, and they sat us at a quiet spot and shut the music in that area just for me. It's a small detail but it made the whole difference, it made it possible for my partner and I to have a lovely evening that we can't get elsewhere. A bit thank you to everyone at La Penela ❤️ Oh. And the food and the wine were excellent. Of course. We had the couteaux (razor clams), the pulpo a la gallega and a slow cooked melt-in-your-mouth veal shank, with a bottle of Albariño white wine. Would absolutely do it all over again. Absolutely delicious! My only regret is that we weren't actually in Spain because we felt transported.”

“Don’t go there ! Too expensive for nothing. Very small dishes. We went there for a celebration (maybe 30 people) and we were all really disappointed by the service, the prices and the food !! “Pleasantly surprised to find a Galician restaurant in the middle of Paris. The pulpo was tender and as tasty as pulpo that I've had in Galicia. The house specialty Veal was very tender and flavorful. Cold cuts and cheese Platter had a good variety of chorizo although could have used more of the very flavorful manchego. Service was friendly and efficient with kudos to our servers Abdel and Miguel who made us feel like welcome old customers. Would definitely go back.”
