Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These terms are between you and Relevant Audience Digital Services Pte. Ltd. (201734242K), which operates Restaurants from Spain. By using the site, creating an account or submitting a review, you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. What this service is — and is not

Restaurants from Spain is an independent directory of Spanish restaurants outside Spain. We are not a restaurant, and we do not cook, serve, or take payment for meals. Any meal you eat is a contract between you and the restaurant.

We work to keep listings accurate, but opening hours, prices, menus and dishes change constantly and much of our data comes from third-party sources. Always confirm with the restaurant before you travel.

3. Your account

• Give accurate details, and keep your password to yourself.
• One account per person. Do not impersonate anyone else.
• You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• You must be at least 16 years old.
• We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms — in particular one used to post fake reviews.

4. Reviews and the content you post

Reviews are the heart of this directory, and their credibility is the only thing that makes them worth reading. When you post one, you confirm:

• It describes your own genuine, first-hand experience at that restaurant. Second-hand accounts and hypotheticals are not reviews.
• You were not paid, given free meals, discounts or anything else in exchange for writing it, and you have no undisclosed connection to the restaurant.
• You do not own, work for, or compete with the restaurant you are reviewing. Restaurants may not review themselves or their rivals.
• It contains nothing unlawful, defamatory, hateful, harassing, obscene, or discriminatory; no threats; no other person’s private information; and no advertising or spam.
• Any photo you upload was taken by you, and you are free to share it.

Moderation. Every review is checked before it appears. We may decline, edit for length or formatting, or remove a review at any time — most often because it breaks the rules above or we cannot verify the account behind it. Restaurants have no say in whether a review about them is published; they may reply publicly, and that reply is theirs, not ours.

Your rights in your content. You keep ownership of everything you post. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce and distribute it in connection with the service and its promotion, including in search results and our newsletter. This licence continues for published reviews even if you close your account, so the public record stays intact — though you may ask us to anonymise them.

5. Restaurant listings and claims

We list restaurants on editorial grounds; a listing is not an endorsement, and appearing here is free. If you represent a restaurant you may claim its page. We verify claims — usually by speaking to the restaurant directly — before granting access, and we may refuse or revoke a claim we cannot verify.

Once you manage a listing, you are responsible for the accuracy of what you publish there and for replying to reviews professionally. Paid placement, wherever it exists, is always labelled as such. Paying us never buys a better rating, a better ranking, or the removal of an honest review.

6. Bookings

A booking made here is a request, not a confirmed reservation, until the restaurant confirms it. Cancellations, no-show policies, deposits and the meal itself are matters between you and the restaurant. We pass on your details so the restaurant can hold your table, and we are not liable if a restaurant cannot honour a booking.

7. Offers and discounts

Where a restaurant publishes an offer, the restaurant sets its terms, funds it and honours it. Each offer states its own conditions and expiry. Offers cannot be exchanged for cash, and we may withdraw one at any time. If a restaurant refuses to honour a valid offer, tell us — we will take it up with them, but the agreement is with them.

8. Acceptable use

Do not scrape, crawl or bulk-copy the directory; do not attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the service; do not upload malware; and do not use the site to send spam or to harvest other people’s data.

9. Our content

The site’s design, text, dish guides, recipes, photography and data compilation belong to us or our licensors. You may link to us and quote briefly with attribution. You may not republish substantial parts of the directory without written permission.

10. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided “as is”. We do not warrant that listings, hours, prices, allergen or dietary information are complete or current — if you have an allergy or medical dietary requirement, confirm it directly with the restaurant every time.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or loss arising from your dealings with a restaurant. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months or SGD 100.

11. Ending it

You may close your account at any time by emailing us. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms. Sections 4 (content licence), 9, 10 and 12 survive.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you keep the protections of the mandatory law of your country of residence.

13. Changes

We may update these terms; the date above shows the current version. If a change is material we will tell account holders by email. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
