Barceloneta is a Spanish tapas bar in the heart of Warsaw, dedicated to bringing the authentic flavors of Spain to Poland. By working directly with Spanish suppliers and carefully selecting regional products, we offer a genuine culinary experience rooted in quality and tradition. Our menu showcases the diversity of Spanish gastronomy, from Jamón Ibérico, artisan cheeses, and Galician octopus to iconic dishes such as tortilla de patatas, patatas bravas, and gambas al ajillo. We combine traditional recipes with a modern approach to presentation and technique. More than a restaurant, Barceloneta is a place to discover and celebrate Spanish food, wine, and culture. Through tastings, product presentations, and collaborations with Spanish chefs and winemakers, we create unique experiences that reflect our passion for authenticity, craftsmanship, and hospitality.

I prefered sitting inside (we had to wait as it was busy) because of the weather although sitting outside would be nicer when it's cooler. The interior design was beautiful as well.”

It looks like they don't appreciate Polish national treasure in here: patatas bravas are tiny even though the ingredients are tanie jak barszcz! I don't get it. I did get a decent amount of wine, contrary to some other reviews. Overall, good experience apart from the fact that you smell like a croqueta when you leave, I guess it is much much better when terraza is in use (was too cold on our visit).”

The tortilla looked like it had been prepared days earlier and simply reheated at the moment of serving. It looked like a block of potato and egg with far too much bell pepper. The glass of wine I paid 30 zł for was also a lack of respect (see image attached). The blood sausage had zero flavor. After trying four dishes and being disappointed every time, we decided not to order anything else. We spent 185 zł — far too much for such poor-quality food. Not coming back.”

However, I had heard good things about Barceloneta and was ready to give it a try... and it was definitively worth it. Fine Spanish stuff with some interesting variations over the traditional recipe. I can certainly recommend it. I will be back for sure”
