Estella is a small restaurant offering authentic Spanish cuisine and local produce. They combine the finest imported Spanish ingredients, as well as locally sourced produce, to create dishes that truly capture the essence of Spain. The restaurant is located in Karuizawa, an upscale resort area one hour from Tokyo by Shinkansen bullet train. The restaurant was founded in 2012. Owner-chef Sato is at Restaurante Cabo Mayor (Madrid), He learned Spanish cooking methods from maestro and mentor Javier Sierra, Carlos Valenti, Miguel Jiménez, and Pedro Larumbe. In our approach to restaurant management, we are always conscious of the need for more Japanese and tourists to experience Spanish cuisine that does not deviate from the essentials. I wish that more people will be able to experience Spanish cuisine and be happy!.

Good sherry collection to pick from if you like that. Some noted bad tencho service but it seemed like no problem to me. ★★★★★Googleより“ordered the lunch course (¥3800/person), salad and appetizers came quickly, and were all amazingly delicious! they helped a lot in calming down a hungry appetite while waiting for the paella to be cooked - there was a sign in the bathroom saying all dishes are prepared on the spot so it would take a while for you to get served, luckily we were the only customers there! paella & dessert was also fabulous, and they were nice enough to change the after meal coffee to chamomile tea as both me and my friend couldn't handle caffeine! tea was so soothing and just the right temperature to make the whole body relax 😍 would definitely come again!”
