“Second time here at the resort and our second time eating at La Fuente. We love this restaurant! Atmosphere is amazing, love the decor. Lamb shank is to die for. Super tender, fall off the bone! My wife had the steak and she said it was better than the steakhouse. Tender as well. She loved every bite! I see some people complain about slow service, let me say, you can’t rush great food! And honestly, you are at a resort to relax! You got somewhere to be in a hurry? Then go eat at the buffet. As for language issues with staff, let me remind you that you are in THEIR home country where Spanish is their mother tongue. If you can’t be courteous and polite and patient, perhaps you shouldn’t be vacationing in Dominican. We were able to get by just fine and the staff are super friendly here. Albert was our waiter and even though his English was limited, he understood us and provided great service! We would gladly eat here again, in fact, we will be in the next few days!”

“Nicely decorated Spanish restaurant with an upscale vibe. We started with the octopus, but unfortunately it was quite bland and had a microwaved texture—wouldn’t recommend it. The standout starter was Lucio’s Egg—simple but satisfying: a soft egg over fries, and probably the best dish we had. For mains, I ordered the beef sirloin, which came out overcooked and in a surprisingly small portion. I’d rate it 2/10—definitely not worth it. The lamb leg was slightly better, maybe a 5/10, but still underwhelming. The dessert was the highlight—definitely try the Queen’s Cake. It was excellent, 9/10.”

“The food was good and the atmosphere with service as well. The octopus, to be honest, wasn't good at all, I'm a Greek guy, and I believe I know how it's supposed to taste and to be cooked. It was very chewy, and it didn't look the best( it was supposed to be with olive oil, but I couldn't taste it at all). The grilled prawns taste good, but they were pretty bland as well. I also got the lobster as well, even though I wasn't expecting a soup🤣 but it was very, very good. About dessert, the Queens cake was the best from everything else!”

“Been here 3 times in the last vacation. I was born in Spain and lived there 27 years, and I can say the quality of the food here is the closest to the real deal without crossing the Atlantic. I'm adding pictures of some of the food I had, but in all honesty, this review is to talk about the amazing service I received tonight. On my last night at the resort I couldn't go anywhere but where I knew I was gonna get the best service, thanks to Rene Perez. He's my to-go room manager and I've always received the best care when he's around. He gives recommendations on what are the best to order if you are divided (I can't decide) and I value his input.”

“Of the restaurants at the resort this was my favorite. The ambiance is more intimate in comparison to some of the others. The food was great and had better presentation than the others as well. One of my friends got the leg of lamb and said it was the best they have had I choose the chicken and was slightly disappointed. Especially when compared to the other dishes I tried. The staff was a bit slow with service but better than the other restaurants at the resort.”
