“I will first disclose that my original review was reported and taken down even though the owner had written a wonderful reply to my feedback that it actually made me reconsider revisiting (and even my friends thought they'd want to visit this restaurant based on the owner's response). So here is my toned-down review that Google Gemini suggested I write instead. We visited on a Friday night around 7:30 PM as it wasn't too crowded compared to other restaurants in the area. Unfortunately, the service was unacceptable from the start. We were completely ignored at the door by the host/waiter, while watching other guests who arrived after us receive a warm welcome and immediate attention. Once seated by another server, we were never offered water or the bread service that other tables received. The difference in how we were treated compared to local patrons was quite different and uncomfortable. Note that the menu is not available in English. As for the food, the service was quite slow, but the paella (loaded with shrimp) and oxtail pasta were decent, and the sangria was good. However, due to the unwelcome attitude of the staff and slow service, I would not return or recommend this location.”

“We had an amazing dinner at Iberia Tapas this Saturday at Albisriederplatz. The atmosphere was casual but still classy. We ordered five tapas to share, and we actually had a hard time picking favourites. The baby squid were tender and buttery, the oxtail cannelloni was rich, the braised meat was velvety smooth and indulgent. If I had to mention one small point of criticism, it would be that the bread they served for free on the side—perfect for dipping into all the great sauces—was a bit on the stale side. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and we will definitely come back.”

“We visited Iberia Tapas as a group of four and had a lovely evening. We ordered seven tapas dishes and one dessert, which turned out to be the perfect amount of food for all of us. Overall, the food was very good. A couple of small suggestions: the “Tostadas con tomate” were a bit too toasted, almost burnt, which overpowered the fresh tomato flavour. A lighter toast would allow the tomato to shine more. The “Tortilla española” had a beautiful texture and was perfectly cooked, but it could use just a touch more seasoning. That said, a pinch of salt did the trick. The standout dish for me was the “Carrilleras de Ternera” absolutely fantastic. Cooked to perfection, rich in flavour, and incredibly tender. I would come back just for that dish alone. The atmosphere was warm and lively, but what truly made the evening memorable was the service. The staff were not only attentive and kind but also genuinely funny and engaging, which added a personal touch to the experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Spanish flavours in Zurich with top-notch service”
