“After a 3hr delay with our flight & a super long day of travel, we arrived late and super hungry. Having looked at the reviews and deciding what we would eat before arriving, to say we were disappointed with what was served is an understatement. We ordered a cuttlefish, squid ink paella thinking it was going to be a nice big traditional sharing paella but sadly we were wrong. Some black ink rice came out on 2 small plates each with 4 measly pieces of cuttlefish on each plate. Hardly worth what we paid and left hungry. Not a great start to our stay.”

“Probably the 2nd best almost best place on Melia for food. Lots of great Spanish options. A great place to order lots of small things to share. The crispy paella is amazing 👏. Service is really good and fairly quick. The resturant is near the pool and the beach so sitting outside is a good idea, or you can sit inside for the air con. Being close to the pool you can go in and order take away to take back to the pool. Excellent and must do. Everything is included for all inclusive except about 4 dishes”

“Only tried it as they left us a 20% discount voucher for us. In short, I’ve never felt such disappointment over a plate of food my life. We tried a range of tapas dishes, all very small (like VERY small), very overpriced. Between 5 people we spent around 2.5 million and left still hungry. We actually had to go have a second dinner. The biggest disappointment was the paella which was suppose to be a big sharing dish. The paella was mushy rice with 4 what tasted like frozen overcooked prawns, there was not enough to have 1 minuscule prawn each! When we are literally eating looking at the ocean you can imagine the sadness that swept over the table. It was the worst and only bad part about our stay at SOL.”
