“Very bad experience at this restaurant! The food was ridiculous bad, the drinks terrible! We have to wait for over a hour for our food and drinks! The food was the worst one that we had in Salvador! We left this restaurant in Rio Vermelho and we went to eat at the street, looking for anything to eat because was very late. We left la Taperia very hungry! We will never come back to this place again. The only thing positive was the waitresses, they were very polite.”

“We went here after reading the reviews. They were very accommodating. There was a mixed bag in terms of service and food. The steak was tough, the paella and the prawns were outstanding. The chorizo was a tiny portion. The jaremo ham was delicious and a good portion. We ended the meal with some churros, which were chewy and not delicious. They were really busy and flustered. They did have a menu in English which was fantastic. I would recommend.”

“Best prawns I've had in a long while. The flavours in the octopus/prawn stew were so rich and complex we had every last drop. Definitely recommend giving it a go. “It was Saturday night so the restaurant was really busy, we had to wait for thirty minutes to get the table. However the food was fantastic! Especially Octopus was my favorite!It was very soft and loved the combination with the bread and tomato salsa!!! They offered us a little shot of Pumpkin soup was really tasty too! We had one of the great meals there!”
